Hope

Having a bad day? life? just remember there is always hope that things will get better.

I sit by the window
looking at the rain
The imitation or my tears
in front or my eyes

The fog from my breath
clouding the rain outside
Is the fog in my mind
clouding my thoughts and dreams

The chill of the window
pressed againts my cheek
represents the chill in my heart
left from your harsh words

The rain and clouds dissapear
and the sun comes out
My hope returns to me
drying my tears away

The fog on the window
clears as the weather does
Dreams and thoughts come back
as the fog leaves my mind

The chill gradually goes away
as the sun warms the window
Your words no longer hurt me
I slowly forget them and you

With the sun out
the fog lifted
and the chill gone
I have hope
