Chemical delusion

Chemical delusion

A Poem by Anna

This last month was

spent...

reaching through

induced distortion,

searching for

some sense of sanity

beneath the weight

of the chemical force

that pushed delusion

to the doorway

of daily thought.

I, only too happy to obligue,

let it in.

Now I am left to

push through the clouded

haze, and open

a window somewhere inside

so that it may escape,

before I am carried away

again, and lost

somewhere beneath it all,

locked alone

within myself,

all others free

outside.

What a great body of work! I really like this.

"Now I am left to
push through the clouded
haze, and open
a window somewhere inside"

Your poetry is touching, and very well written.
