Forgotten

Forgotten

A Poem by Anna

Left in a stack
On the edge
of some long forgotten
desk in the
attic of my mind,
Poems fall one by one
upon the dust covered floor.
Crumbling with time
that has escaped
through windows left broken.
I run my now aged
fingers on the edge
of this rotting desk
to test if
I can still feel...
