Purple haze morning

Purple haze morning

A Poem by Anna

Awakening to
     the calm inside,
          drifting between,
dreams and thoughts.
     Someplace beneath
          a purple sunrise.
I lie among
     crystal drops of dew,
          that reflect rainbows
of myself back at me.
Under trees of
          velvet green.
Waiting for the morning
     haze to
          drift away.
And the day to carry
     me in the wind
          of summers joy.
Then into the
     waiting midnight skies,
          and onto
the stars that rest
     between time.

This is very beautiful ! I like the way you describe your awakening and all the calm, colorful, enchanting scenery that goes with it... as I said "BEAUTIFUL"! I enjoyed reading your writing.
Thank you and salam (peace) to you :)

This poem breathes an air of serenity and relaxation. Just by reading this, I picture a sunrise hitting the horizon, which makes me feel quite calm. Plus, the imagery and syntax is quite effective.

So, I enjoyed reading this.

Thanks for sharing.
