Recondite truth

Recondite truth

A Poem by Anna

Months of silence
     drives
anguish deeper.
     With every moment
things are left
     unsaid,
blood drips
     from broken hearts.
It would be
     better for all
if tongues could
     form the words
that are immured
     by fear.
Chaining them
     someplace within
is only leading
     to the slow destruction
of everything.
