Fleeting Inspiration

Fleeting Inspiration

A Poem by Anna

A thought
    shattered

A splinter
    left behind...
        Embedded.
I Pick at it
    only to
        bury it
            deeper.

I like this.

I'm interpreting perhaps to be about a source of rumination - the splinter of a notion that becomes deeply entrenched, not necessarily a complete thought on its own, but something that will linger and jab every once in a while, perhaps until effort is exerted to extract it.

Simple, but complete. Nice.
