A deadly night

A deadly night

A Poem by anna
"

To my uncle, wherever he might be

"
When it took you away
I saw the life leave your eyes
I started to sway
You had been so wise

A year has passed
I still lay in the wake of sadness
It went by so fast
Creating all this madness

To this day
You wander in my mind
The world has gotten less gray
You had been, so kind.

I love the way this poem shows how the feeling of missing those that have passed can never actually go away. It can lessen, but it stays with you forever. This is a great way of describing the struggle a person can go through.

Thank you. I tried. :)
This is powerful and speaks to anyone who's suffering from any bit of loss. I can deeply relate and I give this two thumps up.
