Gravity

Gravity

A Poem by Annalisa
"

Written in May 2008. I could use help thinking of a title.

"

They say she is wasting away,

Locked in her room, trapped in her head,

Secluded from reality.

They shake their heads, and blame

the parents for her backwards ways.

A little girl sits in her room,

Smiling as she watched the raindrop fall.

Enthralled by the way that it magically

Continues to hold it’s shape throughout

It’s crash to earth.

A little girl sits in her room,

Wishing she could be as strong as a rain drop.
