in a bar.

in a bar.

A Poem by anna.

I met you in a bar.

Too beautiful for I,

I needed to meet you;

to loosen the knots i've tied

You paid attention to little old me,

with my windblown hair,

we conversed about old friends

and spilled our entire share.

I wanted to leave with you;

instant sparks flew 'tween us

we met in a bar,

never knew we'd cause a fuss.

i learned your secret

that changed the world

changed what i knew

oyster and the pearl;

your secret I'll never tell,

but with a fault between us,

like scars from your hell

just hush, babe hush.

you've spoken enough.

i learned your secret.

i'm one of a circle,

you bet i'll keep it.

i'm sorry you're not my man.

but your inner beauty shines

for a man with a secret,

too kind to be mine.
