To Live In Paradise

To Live In Paradise

A Poem by lovelyricalpoetry
"

A lyrical story about Adam and Eve.

"

The beautiful Garden was paradise,
It was all part of God’s plan,
Adam and Eve could have it all,
But the luscious fruit was banned.

Adam’s apple was tempting,
So Eve bit into it,
They weren’t supposed to touch the fruit,
Or God would have a fit.

The Garden of Eden darkened,
And rain began to fall,
Thunder boomed and lightening flashed,
When God came down to call.

“I warned you not to eat the fruit”,
His mighty voice boomed out.
“Now you’re on your own my friends,
To seek what life’s about.”

Adam and Eve were banished,
God said as he locked the gate,
“You can return, once you repent,
But for now you’ll have to wait.”

They lived their lives the best they could,
And they did take God’s advice,
For they knew that all they’d ever want,
Was to live in paradise.
