A Victim Of Questionable StyleA Poem by lovelyricalpoetryThongs and low-rise jeans are exposing much more than they should.
We all stared at her dimples,
As she bent to tie her shoe,
Her cheeks peeped over her low-rise jeans,
And her thong was showing too.
It used to be that dimples,
Were viewed upon the face,
A charming enhancement to a smile,
Never out of place.
The young girl didn’t seem to mind,
That her backside was all but bare,
Yet she had the nerve to get upset,
When she saw the way we stared.
A little old lady spoke up first,
“Your dimples are showing my dear,
Perhaps your dryer is running too hot,
Your jeans have shrunk I fear.”
The girl stalked away indignantly,
And I couldn’t help but smile,
Unfortunately the young girl was,
A victim of questionable style.
