A wish left Untrue

Depressing poem, Basically me.

She lifts up that little blade,

To cut away her fears,

Hoping for the pain to fade,

The sorrow from all the years,

She wants to tell a story,

She forms it on her wrists,

Its such a deep and dark picture,

But still she cant resist,

She hopes for a better future,

All happiness and bliss,

But that is all a day dream,

A hopeless little wish.

This reminds me so much of myself. A wish that doesn't come true <3

Difficult and depressing times shall not last. Sad poem but beautifully written! Love the usage of rhymes and the seamless flow. Short and full of meaning. I like the opening lines...the little blade and cutting away the fears.
