What are you punishing us for?A Poem by Annabelle Lee
The house is too hot
and shower's too cold we never have money this s**t's getting old at first it was easy to sympathize but now your kids suffer I mean Jesus, guys Neither are working or even out of bed before noon, or sometimes 5 p.m. instead The a.c. went out last summer still yet to fix that but there's no money laying around thanks, Mom and Dad The gas was shut off Our showers are cold This poor me business Is quickly getting old Living off of the government I guess that's the way Way to show your children that stealing's okay When your seventeen year old daughter can drag her a*s out of bed and go to work in the morning you need hit in the head Wake up call It's time to grow up It's not our fault you had us We didn't ask to be born But now that we're here What are you punishing us for?
