Past. Present. Future.

Past. Present. Future.

A Poem by Tommye Turner

Turbulent and tragic and tales of woe,

Terrible memories of sunshine and snow.

I should have been happy and content being me,

Idiotic and stupid, why couldn't I see?

Everything was mine and help was always at hand,

Events took me to hell where I received a re-brand.

Shadows of the past still haunt me I say,

Sly. Cold. Malicious. I hate him still this day.

Jealousy corrupts and disfigures the pure,

Jelly is the answer to happiness and more.

Sweets aren't just for toddlers I promise and I swear,

Silly but it’s true that it forces me to care.

Children need love and compassion to live happy,

Carrots and courgettes seem to make me feel crappy.

Generally speaking my life is full of love and joy,

Grateful to be and still act as a boy.

When I’m big I want to be tough and strong,

Where not having hair is seen as wrong.

My beard shall flow from cheekbone to chin,

My moustache in need of a jolly good trim.

I enjoy the idea of liquor and beer,

Inflaming my natural provocative to steer.

Can’t see a wife or a future just yet,

Courage and money so stick with a pet.
