Words

A Poem by Ana Del
"

A short poem about grief. *I would really appreciate some feedback/critics/suggestions on this.

"

With senseless words poured on a paper

Feelings remain trapped inside.

They hurt like roses’ thorns on soft skin:

A thousand bleeding paths collide.

Blood is instantly vitrified

And shatters on the floor of life

In pieces of pictures and memories

I then gather to create a mosaic of infinities,

So that I will never forget you.

Words beautifully said and expressed majestically in pouring the pain of your heart to page as a loving memorial that shall keep a loved one's memory alive ... To paint one's emotions, as literally your heart penned to page, for all the world to see no matter what they might think of what you had to share or how well you shared them, is a bravely grand tribute that speaks of your courage in the face of adversity, and speaks nobly of that person you lift up for the world to see as worth loving just as you loved them ... This piece is perfect just the way it is ...

Your poem is a box of needles, a bed of cactus, and an open heart.
