Notes Passing By

A Poem by A. Garcia Sagarra
"

Hearing a song, drifting away and realizing how you're not broken anymore.

"
Frozen soul is melting slowly,
cold from all regrets,
warming up as the music plays lowly,
unaware of future threats.

A heart that was once broken
bonded again with every piece,
held together by words spoken,
that could so easily cease.

Now flying over the thoughts,
that were at first a trigger,
I just needed to look abroad
and realize sea comes from a river.

The lyrics keep going deeper,
my soul on fire, heart complete,
the way to hatred looking steeper
at the end of every beat.

Nice flow of thoughts. Music can make us fall into old places and think. You open the door to many questions that time and living can answer. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
