Longing A Shoulder To Lean OnA Poem by A. Garcia SagarraWe all need a shoulder to rely on, but if we don't have it, we can't help but long it.
Longing for a shoulder,
in which I can lean on, I can cry over forever, that won't judge what I've done. I need somebody to tell me that no matter what I confess will make them love me less. I've been strong for a while, now, and I'm on the edge of breaking down, but I see their happy faces, unaware of my pain, and I think of what they'd do if I told them all my struggles. They would make fun out of me, I would be the cause of their laugh. That's why I hold back my feelings and sorrow. None of them, my so called friends, would be the shoulder I so deeply long, the shoulder in which I can lean on.
