Drifting log

A poem which tell us not to go wherever the crowd take us .Instead make our own way . This poem ask us to not be like a log which drifts wherever the flow of the river takes it .

Don't go with the flow .
It may not be right .
Do what you want to do ,
Even if for that you have to fight .

Got to believe in yourself ,
with your chest ,hold your belief tight .
The path will be but thorns
& there might not be any light .

Say no to what's not you .
Learn to leave the harbour's sight .
It's never sure you'll win ,
But don't lose the hope and fight .

Because even if there's no help and light .
You've got to make your way through the fog .
Go against the forces holding you back .
& never be in the river like a drifting log .
