The Lady NightA Poem by SignetCame up with a poem after a long long time... hope you like it.. :)The misted veil of darkness hung, As she danced and her cerulean Slowly fading into ebony. For she, Swayed and swayed with her twirling robe, Twinkling and shining with the diamonds of dark, And the enigma of her shining stones Mesmerised those who looked, inspired the love Of young lovers, enthralled. Her little deliberate movements, spreading stillness on to the Earth And her breath lulled the mortals to sleep, The soft footfall and the arms so poised, Wove a dream of the summer land. And she danced on, The Lady Night, She danced away into another day... © 2010 SignetAuthor's Note
