Promises

 

Promises are something you keep

When you promise something to someone,

They expect you to keep it,

Because they trust you.

 

If you break the promise,

That means you broke that

Person's trust in you ;

Not only their trust but

Their feelings towards you.

 

It will be very difficult,

For that person to trust you again,

Trust me I have been there myself

And I know what it's like.

 

So before you make a promise,

Make and think about what you

Might just do to the person,

That you are promising.

 

Make sure you can keepthat person's trust,

Because you will not like if someone,

Broke a promise and hurt your feelings.

I think it is an excellent poem. And I feel as if you are a wonderful writer. This is a great write. The structure of the piece is excellent. It is a thoughtful, engaging piece of writing. Although, in some places the flow isn't as good as it could be. This could be fixed by rephrasing certain sentences, and making small alterations in grammer. Overall, though, it is a good piece of writing.
