My Tongue is Tasting Terrible

 

My tongue is tasting terrible,

I can't imagine why,

For all I ate was pickled snake,

And chicken beaks on rye.

 I had a plate of candid snails,

Assorted monkey lips,

A bowl of curdled turtle tails,

A dish of hippo chips.

I tried a bit of weasel cheese,

Rhinoceros tofu,

A cup of plankton pudding,

Garic curry kangaroo,

A quart of onion ice-cream,

And a slice of walrus pie.

My tongue is tasting terrible,

I can't imagine why?

Loved it little one! Absolutely charming and original! And yes you did keep it in a good rhyming cadence! Have you ever tried brains? I have! Yummy!
