Got miles and miles of skin,

to hide what I got deep inside me.

Nobody knows,

and neither do I try.

I just sit down in a corner,

and lie...

Everybody's got something,

I know that I ain't the only one.

So, why not just come and talk ?

Maybe I'm telling you this because

I got no courage.

And maybe you haven't got it either.

Why can't we just try it out once.

You can take one step,

and I'll take the next towards you.

Why can't we just

be there for each other ?

Why can't we just make it 

our own happy place ?

I promise to be by your side

and listen to all the screams 

within you.

All I'm asking is for us 

to be friends,

who sees what's

beneath our miles and miles of skin.......
