Close to You

Close to You

A Poem by Sync
"

What do I do now?

"
Your eyes so full of light
Even now they're shining bright
Your smile brightens the sky
If it wasn't all a lie

I said to you "Thank you"
For being with me too
But I never got to say
That I'll be on my way

A little bit of pain
Would at least keep me sane
Although I wished that it
Would turn out differently

The tears kept flowing, not able to do anything, I just let out my screams
Going through a winding maze, a blinding haze, of nothing but those piercing scenes
The words you told me a long time ago are now cutting me apart
Crushing my worthless self and my broken heart

And just like that...

Now I am , standing here, slowly wasting away
I just wanted to be by your side, no need to hide, living though every single day
But now that your voice is gone, yet it still lingers in my mind
Is this the death contract that I just signed?
I'll keep pretending that all of this is a lie...

Amazing.
A situation that happened in my life literally manifested itself out through this poem. It's amazing to read something and picture it in your mind as it happened. Wonderful piece.
