the world around

I feel it’s morning, but I see it’s dark-
I know someone woke me, but dogs still bark-
It’s still dark, but in this heart of mine
Thousands of suns already shine-
Young with the dreams that they share with me-
With least thought at their destiny.

I feel there’s love, but I can’t find any
Mind feels clear but the sky’s still rainy;
Breeze from my chest, that’s light as feather
Tries to lighten this cloudy weather-
but, what I’ve learnt that this world of ours,
too heavy to move by alone my powers.

I know there’s hope, even if I can’t see
People are rising, and starving to be free;
I know those cages that hold them back
Is soon going to be under attack;
All those love, light, hope�"when they’re true
On my journey, they’ll walk along too.

I feel it’s time, and time it is
to wake up, and know our enemies-
it may be dark, and cold, even sad-
but remember the warm days so far we’ve had-
all that warmth we must somehow pay back
all over the cold world, whenever they lack.

I like the reason and the purpose for the poem. the above lines are true. We must return the love given to us. It is like karma. Love given will return to us in ten-folds. Thank you for sharing the poem. Left the reader with things to ponder. The good description led the reader to good thoughts and places.
