Mysterious

Steep

Next to a chair

 

I will never know

Where it leads to

I will know

 

I know that it will bring me

To a place that I can go

If I don’t want to do the work

That I’m asked of

 

Will there be something nice

Or will there be something scary?

I will never know

 

Sometimes I think there is an imaginary place

Like Narnia or a dungeon

I will never know

 

I will always stare at the stairs

Wandering what is up there.
