Scars on my soul

Scars on my heart

All from the weapons

Straight from the start

 

One gossip after another

More wounds to my heart

I will never hit back

Although they keep pounding

I keep to myself

 

My heart overfilling

With all these stabs

Not once will I tell a soul

These scars remind me

Of those who cut themselves

But I don’t choose that pain.

If only they knew

 

I feel so horrible

I’m in so much pain

Even as the scars

Burn in my heart
