The light in all darkness

Nothing in the night can hide from you

 

The mysterious moon

Shining bright in the night sky

Nothing to do

Nothing special

 

Yet you intrigue will your brightness

The star bowing to you

Worshiping your brightness

 

You are a sister to the earth

Yet we can’t get to you easily

 

Moon, why do you have to be so far away?

I want to be able to touch you

With just my bare hands
