Is that really me?

I have ponder at who I was for a while

not the me on the outside,

but the me on the inside

 

I never really knew before how horrible i was on the inside

while on the outside, I throw a smile on my face

and act like nothing's happening to me

 

but now I realized it

 

I realize never knew how afraid I was of being alone

but now that has come into recognition

 

because now I'm more alone than ever

Recognizing self and coming to grips with who we are is the first step in building self-esteem. When we honestly see a fault in ourselves then we can work on improving. That's the message I see here.

I have a poem similar to this about who "you" really are. As much as it sucks to be alone, I feel it puts more ink into the pen, you become more creative in my opinion. I really like this poem. Very good!

I really like the idea we all have secrets, and things hidden under us. I think both of the inside or outside is a part of us... And although we may act towards some people, we never know, maybe telling them our real feeling is better...
