Can't Agree

this is what i would think would happen when i get ready my new york trip this friday and i would talk to my mom about it before i left

She says to go and have a good time

I said I can't if he's not there

She says to don't worry about him

I said it's impossible to not think about him

She says to stop thinking about him

I said that, I cannot do

She looked around the room

I looked down at my feet

She thought for a moment

I stayed quiet for a while

She then says why don't you just buy him a souvenir

I looked up to think for a second...

I said that, I would love to do
