I Never Would Have Thought

i thought of this during drafting when i was building my foam board house xD of course, he's in that class xD lol

I always thought we were so different

Which made me believe that

Opposites do attract

But I was proved wrong

You acted like a child

Used a T-square as a sword

And laughed at the most

Stupidest things during class

When I least expect it

I always learn something new about you

It's not that I don't pay attention,

I just think that you're now opening up to me

I have never seen you

Like that before

It intrigues me

Not because you're

Acting this way

But because I act

That same way, too

Maybe we are not so

Different after all

I never would have thought

That we were 

So similar

I like this poem very much. My favorite part was: "When I least expect it, I always learn something new about you. It's not that I don't pay attention, I just think that you're now opening up to me." A situation to relate to say the least. Some people may not know others unless they open up to people or when its all too late.
