Why???

this actually happened to me last year in november. it was so horrible! Dx

One day during school, at around the same time

We walk to our class, the same as mine

And there he was, standing around

Looking in directions, but nothing was found

At random she smiles, and walks his way,

Hugs him and says she's just happy today

He just stands there a bit, wasn't sure what to say

My eyes widened big, and quickly looked away

Why did she do that? I had no clue

But I had to pretend I had something to do

She knows that I like him, and that he likes me

It's bad that she couldn't let things be

I tried not to look, but it was right there

My hand clenched together, it just wasn't fair

He looked confused, but was more shocked

She just smiled really big and then just walked

I stared her down, we sit across from each other

Then our eyes quickly met one another

She said, "What happened? What did I do wrong?"

I just said, "I'll tell you. It won't take long"

The bell then rang and she turned to me,

I tried to keep cool, but it just wasn't me

"Why did you do that? Was that for real?"

She didn't know what was the big deal.

But then she understood about what just happened

She grinned and smirked, my emotions were flattened

"Aw, you really love him" she laughed and teased

She said that out loud, I wasn't relieved

My face turned pink, he was still in his seat

Hopefully he didn't hear, and no one would repeat

I told her to shush, but she wouldn't listen

She finally stopped, only with my permission

I looked where he was, he wasn't aware

This day was embarrassing, that I swear

This time I was lucky, and he knew nothing

But she was just crazy, and I was just crushing.
