Ask For Permission

i wonder why

i am always so shy

when i always see you

pass me by

i talk to my friends

about the weird trends

and that's who i am

until the day ends

but when i see you

i don't know what to do

my minds goes off

and thinks out of the blue

but then you smile

for a very long while

and ask me to go out

tonight in style

after school we go out

and walk all about

we stayed up late

and had fun no doubt

i just remembered this

i'm going to be missed

i didn't get permission

they're gonna be pissed

so i go to my house

as quiet as a mouse

but my parents saw me

wearing my new blouse

this is so bad

everyone is mad

forgot to tell my date 

to first ask my dad
