My poisonous drug

My poisonous drug

A Poem by Pevi Mae

You seal my rage with every breathe,

Every kiss that softly lingers through my soul.

Cause I seek thine love, thine love unending.

How your voice’s charm reaches the depths of my heart

as if telling me your greatest desires.

And it leaves me at ease,

with the calmness of dawn that awakens my spirit

For in this moment consoled,

you remain as my ardent sudden delight in this clandestine evening.

Cause I’d love to dance by your side under the flicker of the night

and make the heavens rejoice once again.

And I submit my crimson rage in its most delicate form

 as I plead

Goddess of light, shine on us.

Bless thine gifts from which our strength and power beholds

For true souls unfold in this fairytale’s rebirth.

Kind everlasting, favor on us.

Thy bitterness prevented, Thy hurt relinquished

Nothing but full bloom, nothing but colors

Love profound infinitely shines towards us.

I think you should change the frequent uses of the word "'Coz" to the more formal "'Cause". Many people say this is not grammatically correct, but it really is just a contraction and perfectly legitimate. I think the greater connotations of formality of the word would fit in better with the overall tone of your poem. Especially in the line "'Coz I seek thine love, thine love unending." The contrast is particularly jarring here.
"And I submit my crimson rage in its most delicate form" That's a very nice line, the apparent paradox of crimson rage being made delicate.
"Goddess of light; shine on us." In think that should be a comma, rather than a semi-colon.
"Bless thine gifts from which our strength and power beholds" It might be just me not getting what you're trying to say, but I think you're misusing the word "beholds"
Overall, I liked it and intend to look at your other works as soon as I have a chance : )
