love again

love again

A Poem by Pevi Mae

Can I be seduced by the calmness of your heartbeat?

Why am I starting to feel a sudden strange gush inside me?

Still I choose to listen to this persistent beating.

Even if it’s already out of tune

Even if it’s in the wrongest direction

And even if it scares me to love again

‘Coz right where the breeze gets tired of breathing

Right where the stars gets tired of shining

Right where the rain gets tired of falling

Is right where this stubborn heart gets tired finding love again

Was I forcibly brought to my losing edge when I dare not leave from my earnest despair?

To my defeat is where your conquest begins

To my surrender is right where my sorrow ends

At last I submit from this confusion

Holding on to yesterday’s eternity was nothing more but in the bounds of my sweetest dreams.

This is very deep. I love it. I think it shows accurately the confusion that love brings. Great job.
