revived

revived

A Poem by Pevi Mae

Can you feel the rush of the wind? How about the hush of breeze? And here we are, ignoring the flare of sunshine, and walked past through the shores.  Suddenly, you lingered for a while, held my hand and brought me closer to you – not realizing, this was the sweetest moment I ever had in my life.  You looked through me, and feel my skin so tenderly.  Sealed my lips with a kiss, and I was so fervently caught up in bliss.

But it was from that moment when . . .

We were so full of dreams, not worrying about tomorrow while we watched the sunset together.

I knew then things will never stay the same and yes, you left without a trace. So here I am now, all alone, still hoping someday, you would come back for me to revive the days to where, when our hearts still young, when everyone feels like strangers ‘round us and everything seemed to be so damn fine.
