Hope

Hope

A Poem by Midori
"

This poem is about God and the devil.

"
A heart black as night
Waits in the shadows
Like a lion waits for his prey
Tempting all humanity
With the desires of our hearts.

But there is hope for us yet

A heart as white and pure
As a diamond who gave his son
To help us,
He alone commands the stars
And all evil hides in his presence

There is hope for us yet.

One day he will come and call
his bride home,to be with him
A war will rage against the black heart
and the diamond heart but he will win
becuase he is the creater of all living things.

There is hope for us yet

So come to him, enter into his presence
come bow before him
worship and praise his name
for he made us all
he sees the future
he knows what you will do
before you even do it
he has mapped out all of eternity

There is hope for us yet.

The black heart in the poem is satin. The diamond heart is God. And I did not really care about the grammar.

Wow, Suzie! My first glance at this was "where did this come from!" Honesty and love are apparent in this poem. I know the rhyming wasn't purposeful, but I enjoy the rhyme in the second paragraph between 'us' and 'presence'. Great work
