Sweet Voice

This poem is dedicated to my friend Paige. She is one of the greatest friends a person could have. I love you Paige!

 

I hear that voice…

See that girl

Blonde hair straight and thin

Living life in the present

Holding close to a heart so giving

Dear to me and the world around her

Timeless moments surround her

Giving healing light to the world

Writing her tears and joys

Loving herself for who she is

And all that she has accomplished

Truly knowing how much she means to the world

One day her future will shine brightly

Love surrounds her

She will never let it fly away

With the clouds of the wind

Always let your future shine

Never give up; never loose hopes…dreams

Dream with the stars

Keep moving forward as you are

Never change the way you are

Always write away your passions and fears

Feelings of love and dreams surround you

That’s one sweet voice

I love to hear everyday

The voice that whispers in the wind

A voice that stands out of the rest of the crowd

Keep on believing

Never let anything stand in your way

Use those blocks and build angels around them

Never change yourself

The world and I love you for who you are

Right now and right here

So, don’t ever change that
