strange

strange

A Poem by Anima
"

a poem about not knowing one's self

"

strange to wander around
in one’s own head
not recognizing the scenery
searching for a lost path,
looking for a sign, a marker, a guide.

strange to feel so foreign
in the hallways and rooms
that are my own mind.

catacombs

strange to wake up and find
them all empty
like tombs
dark
cold.

Excellent writing!!! This short poem drips with raw emotion and is a joy to read. The lines flow with precision and never stray...The imagery is there and can be related to. Very good job. Be proud of yourself.
