THE STAR AND THE BOYA Poem by ANIKET ASHOK
there was once born a star
twinkling in her juvenile stature beaming with all her valor she was a newborn celestial beauty came to this world on a day so rosy brightest of all and so pleasant to one earthly boy she was so incumbent neither knowing what the future holds in store the boy got on with his life so bore with cobwebs of time settling their fate so intertwining they had to come across each other but they didnt know of them in future being together they saw each other every night she, in her full gleam so bright and he in his sorrowful eyes but they were two bodies worlds apart and he knew she was a mystique in her part one night the boy gazed at her flicker he kept on seeing mesmerized by her shimmer he kept on looking swept away by her beauty divine the subtle silkiness of her skin of whine he wanted to touch this angelic star but with a world apart the thought swept from him away like a dart every night he used to meander on her 'whine-ish' charm she had him enraptured in her angelic charm he wished he could touch her just once and slept each night staring at his beloved's brilliance then came the day when the angle descended taking pity on the boy she had his heart mended they touched for the first time and the moment this happened they knew it was meant to be suddenly the entire world started to chime they intertwined into one and left the world to another paradise it was not pity which brought the angelic star it was fate that made them now together but earlier far they are made for each other and live in a world of their own the subtle conglomeration of divine and human and this made a love story of eternity and aeon....... © 2015 ANIKET ASHOK |
