don't take yourself too seriously,

just experience your life gloriously. 

today, I saw you cry your heart, 

this hit me like a dart.

why do you dwell on what didn't turn to be yours?

why do you rake past to open those old sores?

why do you stare at those unopened doors?

why do you wait to sail to your happy shores?

you fail to realize, 

it's fruitless those cries,

every moment is a new chapter, 

why miss the fun and laughter?

some wins are upstarts, 

some losses are restarts,

everyone has their share, 

it isn't all funfair.

take your shots,

break open your knots,

it is all you and only you,

if not you, then who?

I choose to take this completely personally. You can't make something that isn't so, sometimes loving so much or wanting so much it isn't enough. Sometimes some things just not for you. And that has nothing to do with you. You can't bloom in every season and in every soil. But you are still a perfect flower and you are beautiful where you can bloom. loved your poem, you are amazing

Yes, we all have our share of broken hearts, starts, ends, achievements, losses, it is a fact of life.
If something is not meant for us, it will not be ours, be it love, a job, etc. A door may close but another will open, a new beginning and hope that it will bring fulfillment. People are like a box of crayons. Some are whole, some are broken into different size pieces, but THEY ALL WORK! Broken or whole, each will colour in the artist's choice of colour.
