this is for you my lady love tonight,
your twinkle eyes ignite,
I can't stop but write.

you walk up to the door,
those lilly's you wore,
your killing smile I adore.

you look stunning in the white dress,
I may be shy to confess,
hey, I won't say this unless,
you know, my heart fails to express.

today is the second of August,
let me be totally honest,
you're so pretty, gorgeous and modest.

you are a woman of grace,
always in my headspace,
just that you know in case.

there are days you are uptight,
gearing up for a real fight
but you shine so bright
that I forget all my might.

many times we doublethink
when our lives are rock pink
but I'll always be there as a heat sink.

this is for you my lady love tonight,

This sounds like total infatuation and devotion to me. Sealed air tight, it is. Heat sinks make things right by keeping things cool. Let's hope her heat is of a sexual nature and not raging anger and throwing skillets! (I've known a couple of those) Nice writing, my friend.

Thanks Sam for reading. Regarding Heat Sink thing, this reference was more about diffusing arguments, issues and any misunderstandings in a relationship, be the soothing calm and cool it off when needed to keep away the heat in a relationship. Thanks again for the review.
