2 minutes

While tying my shoelaces the other day,

I dozed off 2 minutes to let my thoughts play.

I could see myself on the aisle,

a dear friend saying hello with a smile,

running errands in a mile,

washing dishes from a stockpile,

taking out trash of mine,

doing my laundry in downtime,

walking myself for a while,

planning gym resolutions in style,

yet munching chips like a child,

remembering adventures in the wild,

those 2 minute thoughts made it worthwhile.

It's funny how 2 minutes is all you need

to make everything around you special indeed.

While tying my shoelaces today,

if I may say,

2 minutes is the way,

day after day..

Certainly accomplished a lot in 2 minutes in the poem...but what about in reality? Just the shoelaces? or so much more?

Haha... not really. a lot of it was accomplished in the past and were recollected in 2 minutes of thoughts. In real 2 minutes, just the shoelaces and dozed off in those thoughts :) Intended to say that, little things in life is all we need to feel good and make life better around us.
