Most welcome always, Abhi. COVID has a lot to answer for! It affected us all in different ways, but it's good to have a few pounds extra to lose because if one got ill, they have it to lose and don't look as gaunt as they would if they didn't have it to lose. Don't lose too much weight, Abhi. I am sure you look amazing as you are, my dear friend! I need to get more fit than I am! Wishing you a very blessed day and a wonderful new week too...

Take very good care of you too, dear friend, keep safe and well. Every second person in Ireland has the latest Covid deviant which starts with feeling unwell and a sore throat. Wonder if this virus will always be with us in one form or another, Abhi. Have a very lovely day and a blessed new week ahead too...
Dear Abhilash, I think there are many who are coming to terms with an excess of a few pounds gained while the gyms were closed and restrictions in place. This made me smile and yes, it is good to share some humour in these troubling times. Take care poet.

It's been a total year for hibernation with this virus wreaking havoc on our lives and our waistlines. Somehow I don't think you are alone in having put on a few kilos! I enjoyed the humorous twist in the end here; it's time to reverse the schedule....on the treadmill first and then on the cot for a nap! Nicely witty, Abhilash! :)

Sounds a little like the protagonist is way out of shape and no longer fits his clothes but never-the-less is defiant! Like the playful nature of the rhyming.

I go to the gym 3 times a week and do a 40 minute workout at home six days week. Must admit I did nothing at gym for three months and put on weight due to injury and covid but now back in the swing. It's hard to stay motivated but you are young and can do it!
