And that my friend, is the difference between living in hoy and cold climates.
You make it sound almost romantic, but the reality from where I'm at is just a lo-cal diet version of winter that makes us wait and wait for the briefest glimpse of sun, only for it to be taken away by drizzles that turn into monsoons, snow and ice! (Yes, you heard me right!)
Did you know that there is more chance of it snowing at Easter than at Christmas? Anyone living in a cold country does! 😃
The last time I wore a t shirt my n*****s turned it to rags in minutes.
No, give me the incessant dry arid heat akin to living in a volcano any day!
😃

I hope they come along soon your way. Snow on Easter - that's interesting, so looks like you are looking ahead for a snowy winter weekend coming up. Thank you so much for reading and sharing your thoughts, Lorry. Appreciate it much!
This is really well done, A.H. You capture the scenes with just the right words to create images that one can see and feel. Rain is cleansing and great to listen to when there's nowhere to go.

Thank you much Relic. I really appreciate your thoughts and words.
A lush, sensuous ode to rain, this poem brims with synesthetic beauty—where seasons flirt, droplets seduce, and the soul surrenders to the tender, fragrant embrace of April showers.
Beautiful poetry!

Thank you Belle. I'm grateful for your kind words on this poem.
“ Sunbathed in apple red,
Clouds flavored in vanilla,
The air smells of mischief
As the parched rain chimes.“
Gorgeous poem from beginning to end A.H.! Colorful, natural imagery and delightful language, flow, meter, rhyme- lovely ode to April. Romantic, whimsical and buoyant. Made my day!

“Petrichor” is such a powerful word! Not as graceful a word as I expected (for so many decades now) but requires a poem such as this to bring out its magic. A true achievement 🕊🙏🏻

Brilliantly written nature poem. Thunder, Lightning, wind and rain march together to kick out heat swallowing April. Loved it. Lot of emotions, nostalgic. Keep it up

I could imagine the intricate details you have so magnificently woven in each line. To give such a wonderful description for a blissful moment of mother nature is quite entrancing. Great work!
