O' Summer RainA Poem by Abhilash HegdeO' summer rain, your mystic drops an enigma in my sweet pain... In your blue garbs adorned with snowy clouds, the white rain gushes, weaving the scarlet beads to garland the blossomed love. In which shells of flights would the pearl open its wings? In which eyes of the doe, would the spectacle unfold? In which seas of emotions, would my life set sail? In which drops of thee, would I surrender? O' summer rain, your mystic drops an enigma in my sweet pain... The treacly scent of first pour, fondles and kisses the earth's fore. Which drop of thee, gave life to that seed? Which drop of thee, bred that mead? Which glint of she, I owe? Which touch of she I trove? I see her navel jewelled in sky chassing amidst the angels in pry. Her footsteps on the silent move imprinted my heart in vibes and shove. She stood there with a palette, splashing the colours of rainbow. My eyes mesmerise, I bow. O' summer rain, your mystic drops an enigma in my sweet pain... In the cense of her I live my breath. In the spell of her I conquer my death. With thy misty breeze O' summer rain, I have fell prey to she. The trees, birds and peaches drenched in your drops seek in quest for their mates. In the moonbeam and night, In the sunshine and light, My heart has set its pilgrimage towards the land of she. My soul would rest in peace In the love shrine of she. O' summer rain, your mystic drops an enigma in my sweet pain... 25 Mar 2007, by Abhilash Hegde
