yep this is political opinion
my opinion

i drag my soapbox ... again!
and proudly so!

the tip of the spear ... dangerous GOP/MAGA agendas

the battles for control of this constitutional republic began on day 1
democracy is a grand experiment of transparency and a level playing field
so much for wishful thinking
one party stands for personal choice
the other blatant submission via do as we say not as we do

nixon was the 1st of weasels in our lifetime
the ideologic has always been there just as racism and misogynistic controls were/are the reality of mindset of GOP/MAGA
nixon reagan bush1 bush2 trump
the battles have been waged, some won many lost
the war is now in our face

stay fight educate!

the war on democracy is reality
it is time to stay fight educate!

yes this is a fight for our lives!

thank you for your dedication to freedom
who says the spirit of the 60s is dead?

i am mindful ...
“I disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it”
is said to have come from Voltaire.

It is not from Voltaire, the 18th-century philosopher, but it was a paraphrase from a biographer named Evelyn Beatrice Hall of what she thought Voltaire was thinking.

Voltaire did write ...
"Every man is guilty of all the good he did not do. Common sense is not so common.
It is difficult to free fools from the chains they revere.
Judge a man by his questions rather than his answers."

“We're all bozos on the bus, so we might as well sit back and enjoy the ride”
is a quote from Elizabeth Lesser's book Broken Open: How Difficult Times Can Help Us Grow.
The quote is attributed to Wavy Gravy, a campaigner and fundraiser for good causes. Lesser uses the line to encourage people to let go of pretense, approach problems with a forgiving heart, and understand that everyone has ordinary flaws.
