A Poem by keith
"

stand up! stand up for your rights!

"

i am not me
you are not you
my wings don't spread
don't fly to the blue.

i can still take a trip
never leaving the farm.
having some remorse
hoping for done no harm.

done no shame
done no finger pointing blame
done no playing
the game.

the privilege white
is this my right?
some would could say
what the fuk
have you done today?

done spent valuable time?
i talk you listen
it is my dime!
is this pantomime?
how 'bout showtime?

the reality of suffering
enslaving containing
discriminating.
separate but equal my a*s
testing civility we can not pass.

we need to understand
accept we will never
know the real of
oppression
enslavement
the beatings
the rapes
the murderous lot,
tossing aside dead bodies
like bad fruit left
to rot.

the horse our kind rode
not knowing the weight
not knowing the load.

the plight
the flight
of persons
of color.

we, us white fuks
must carry
the wrongs of our fathers
good sense primary

the quilt
no blanket cover
of sins forever
understanding knowing words
again never

s**t stinks

muddy boots
bare feet
homeless mass
this test
we cannot pass

time is now to end racism
