3 ... 2 ... 1

ticking time bomb
tiered justice
times two

tiered justice
times two
on display
this past week
no mug shot
no fingerprint
no bail required

the S.O.B.
walked right out
when his indictment
was read
plea entered
banging of the gavel

what price defendants
must pay
for the accusations made
against them
excessive bail set
cash bond needed

lady justice thumb
tilts the scale

arrest not cordial
not polite
or otherwise
otherwise one asks
police brutality
police assaults
tasing after tasing after tasing
illegal chokeholds
knees to the neck or mid-back
ticking time bomb

civil rights violated
trampled
tossed aside like
dirty laundry

strip search
cavity search
overcrowding
gangs
violence
turf wars
strip search
cavity search
assaults
beatings
rapes
murders
city county state
federal
jail prisons not pretty

on the other hand
money talks
and them with it
walk

39 page indictment
39 page
a booklet of crimes
the rich S.O.B.
walked out
like nobody's business

i really don't like the rich
so much

this ticking timebomb
