HANDS OFF!A Poem by keithdonteventhinkaboutitKEV!HANDS OFF! we honorably served this land of ours we fought many died rivers ran red bloodied waters last equal opportunity any and all could die we came home us fortunate ones shadowed by memories deadly times not easily lost we saw them fall friends pals warriors all some came home some went back flag draped coffins carried down the ramps only to be placed on the tarmac amongst brothers dead we came we saw we did not conquer fifty five thousand two hundred and twenty testify so i remember we remember memories unforgotten war is hell yet i survived warrior devils we be warrior devils do you see we fought we died we drank whiskey sometimes we lied the one thing we never forgot the gut punch as we watched the other drop drop like tears or springtime rains drop like the blood stained fatigues dirtied by mud we always wore superstitions kept us alive wash the hurt away no not ever for as ugly and sad no matter the horrific sights never not ever would we want to forget we honorably served we earned our va hands off b*****s that includes you kev hands off americas promise hands off b*****s we have earned our va Charlie Parr - Ain't No Grave Gonna Hold My Body Down
