most of us
volunteered
most of you
didn't

most of us
have defended
democracy
most of you sat
on your a*s

we did
as we were told
you did
as you pleased

some of us
died
some of you
don't care

we fought for you
we died for you
we killed for you

we don't ask
for parades
or holidays
in our names

we don't ask for more
than we earned

for more than
we deserve

only what
was promised

next time around
fight your
own wars

next time
burn you own
s**t

next time
do your own
killing

next time ...
